Shuffle, as a dance style, originated in the 80s of the 20th century in the Australian city of Melbourne on the underground scenes during the heyday of Acid house music. The main movement in Shuffle is the Running Man, which imitates walking in place, these are sliding steps forward and backward and left and right. It is these movements that gave the name to the dance (Shuffling – sliding feet on the floor).
Shuffle is danced for pleasure, therefore, during training, much time is devoted to ensuring that each beginner has his own unique original style. In Ukraine, this trend is only gaining popularity. Shuffle is danced to modern electronic music. If you analyze the dance by elements, you can distinguish various options of shuffling, sliding movements, which in combination create the illusion of levitation of the dancer above the floor.
