Break Dance is a sport dance that contains elements of acrobatics. There are two directions: upper and lower break. The first focuses on arm movements, head turns, wave-like and geometric body movements. The second increases the load on the arms, its main figures: running around its axis, push-ups, rotation on the head or arm.
Interesting facts about Break Dance:

- There is an opinion that this is a purely male style and girls do not do it – this is a blatant stereotype. Girls dance no worse than guys, participate in competitions on equal terms and win over men. - In the early 2000s, the style was very common in popular culture. It was danced everywhere: at weddings, proms and right on the street. The hype gradually died down, so it may seem that no one dances break anymore. This is not true, it’s just that the style has reached the professional level, on the festival and competition stages. The biggest championship is the annual Red Bull BC One, in which 16 of the world’s strongest dancers compete in front of thousands of spectators.
- At the 2019 World Championships in the Czech Republic, the Dream Team took first place.
